d. Allocation of academic professional books is statistics-based method according to the following formula:
Unit’s budget = (Total professional book budget / Total point) * department point
The calculation of point as follow:
(1) Each department has two (2) points
(2) Another point of department is according to number of full-time student
A. Below 200 students is one (1) point
B. 201 – 400 students is two (2) points
C. 401 – 800 students is three (3) points
D. Above 801 students is four (4) points
Independent school, center for Teacher education, General education center has two (2) points.
New department has additional two (2) points every year within five (5) years. e. Journal and database budget is managed by library.
f. E-journal is priority for journal subscription
g. Journal renewal is based on department recommendation.
h. The regulation and any amendments to them shall become effective after approval of the library committee meeting.
