How to Enter Library or Obtain a Library Card

I.

Current Students, Faculty, Staff

Your valid CYCU ID Card is the Library Card. The Currently registered Students may use the CYCU Registration Card and the full-time Faculty, Staff may use the CYCU Employee card to access all the library's services or borrow materials.

The part-time Faculty, Staff or Research Assistants may fill the Part-time Faculty/Staff Library Privilege Card application form to get the Library Card.

I.

Alumni.

The CYCU Alumni may use your CYCU Alumni Card to enter the library. To apply a CYCU Alumni card please contact Office of Alumni and Placement, Tel: (03)2651505.

The Alumni who want to borrow materials from the library must take the CYCU Alumni card and contact library circulation desk for borrowing application, which is at the special rate of NT$2,000 for bonds (will be returned).

Cards are issued to individuals and are not transferable.

II.

Residences of Taoyuan County.

The residences of Taoyuan County may apply a Library Entrance Card (for Open-Access Study Room on the basement entrance only) at the rate of NT$700 per year. Cards are issued to individuals and are not transferable.

The residences of Taoyuan County who want to borrow materials from the library may apply for a Library Privilege Card at the special rate of NT$2,000 per year and the other rate of Nt$3,000 for bonds (will be returned). Download Outside Users Library Card (word format)

Privilege Cards permit holders to borrow materials, except periodicals, theses, and reserve materials, in accordance with Library policy. Cards are issued to individuals and are not transferable.

III.

Visitors.

Person who would like to use the library on the same day may apply the day-use visitor card by presenting their valid ID at the entrance service desk.

Daily access is limited to 75 persons in Open-Access Study Room on the basement and 50 persons on 2^nd ~5^th Floors.
